Dag 25: Le Pouzin - Bourg-Saint-Andéol (63 km)

For the first time in roughly 8000 km a puncture! We needed some help from another cyclist to get it fixed as the solution had dried up, so long it hadn't been used 🤔. That help came from a young German lady, on her own heading to Barcelona. Later an older German cyclist, on the way to the South of Spain, joined the party. He is now watching Germany - Sweden and quiter than earlier this day.

We had to cross the Rhône again several times. Quite a challenge as the Mistral was still blowing strongly. One of the bridges was a special rope bridge for cyclists. The author of our guide adviced to do what the locals do: walk over the bridge what we duly did. Arrived at the other side of the river after some 200 shaking meters, another 'trekker' coming from the opposite direction, tried to cross the bridge cycling but gave up soon. A Dutch couple only took pictures and returned. The only person who went over the bridge cycling was a local.

Our German cyclist cheared up.
